My journey into nutrition began unexpectedly when I was diagnosed with Celiac disease at age 40. Traditional medicine failed to identify my condition despite severe symptoms, so I had no choice but to tap into my own wisdom and instinct to get well. This personal crisis sparked a deep fascination with how food choices impact our overall well-being.
I navigated perimenopause and menopause, expanding my curiosity to hormone health and longevity and learning strategies to thrive during these transitions. My professional background includes six years as a clinical director and educator at a women's health center, where I dedicated myself to improving other womens' health and wellness.
Before transitioning to Nutrition Coaching, I spent over 25 years as an executive, CEO, and entrepreneur, selling my companies in 2023 to pursue my passion for nutritional wellness fulltime.
As a career executive, I came to understand the impact of stress on all aspects of myself. To help others, I've recently enhanced my expertise with additional nutrition credentials, and I sat for the NB-HWC National Board Certification exam in March 2025 - the highest credential available in this field. I will add a Hormone Health Coaching Certification in May 2025.
My mission is to help clients access their own innate wisdom about what nourishes them (and doesn't!). I help translate complex nutritional science into practical, actionable knowledge and habits that anyone can implement in their daily life. I bring both personal experience and professional expertise and passion to this work, drawing on my ongoing study of the microbiome, mitochondria and metabolic health.
With my husband Brice, I have raised two children to adulthood and live in Crested Butte, Colorado. I am a passionate skier, biker, mountain climber and trail runner.
